All plumbing systems noted per plan, unless otherwise specified, including rough (in wall/underground) and finish (setting fixtures, etc.) are included. Plumbing costs are calculated based on the design and fixtures selected, with more intricate fixtures possibly requiring additional installation expense. Unless otherwise specified, Tellus uses PEX material as a standard. The cost of traditional copper piping—if requested or required—is approximating 2-3 times that of PEX tubing. As a standard, Tellus uses a “hot-mop” system for waterproofing solutions. Additional plumbing can be required in conditions unknown, not previously built to code or per plan, or found to be requiring repair or upgrade. If applicable, as a standard, Tellus specifies and installs tankless heater units by NORITZ because of their large and varied product line, customer service, and overall reliability.
