While some phases of construction are, of course, more difficult to keep “clean,” the project is to be kept organized daily and in “broom-clean” condition. Designated waste areas will be defined and provided, and acceptable standards will be set by the project manager. Onsite Tellus project managers are typically assigned to between one and three active projects at a given time, based on the specific site requirements. If full-time supervision is required or requested, this will be clearly defined in the construction agreement and scope of work. Along with onsite supervision, all ongoing construction is overseen by our Vice President of Construction and assigned administrative support and a project estimator for any client-requested changes to plan during the build process. At project completion, a deep, final cleaning is performed at all areas affected by construction, and a single final “punch list” is created by Tellus and approved by the client for completion. Upon completion and approval of the initial punch list, additional items agreed to be in need of fine-tuning or repair will be completed during the project warranty phase, which lasts two years.
